I Ching

I Ching or the "Book of Changes" is a form of divination dating back to 5000 BC Written by Fu Xi, a legendary ruler of ancient China, some modifications were made to I Ching by King Wen of the Shang Dynasty. Mainly used to make decisions or answer questions regarding the future, I Ching basically contains sixty-four hexagrams that represent the dynamic relationship or the state of eight elements, which are represented by a trigram, and are basically two three-line structures. Each line, with which the trigrams and hexagrams are constructed either stand for Yang, which are the solid, unbroken lines, or Yin, which are lines with a gap in the center.

The hexagrams number to 64 as this is the mathematically possible, number of combinations of six Yin and Yang lines.  Each and every hexagram has a significant and unique meaning, which when drawn will hold the answer to your question. Just remember that I Ching does not produce a definitive prophecy regarding you future, but in fact gives you wisdom on the best path , Doll Display Cabinets to choose, and how that will help you achieve what you want. Also, according to I Ching a question cannot be repeated in the hope of getting a better answer.

The various methods of I Ching

Over the centuries various methods were used for determining the lines of the hexagram, some are even used today. These include the yarrow stalks method, wherein the manipulation of the yarrow stalks generates hexagrams, which are studied and decoded in the prescribed manner for the prediction, the three coin method, which is a easier, quicker and a more popular method than using the yarrow stalks, the Two Coin method and the Four Coin Method. In the Three Coin method the coins are tossed to get a resulting line to formulate the hexagram, whereas in the two coin method, there are two tosses per line. The four coin method is easy and quick if one is comfortable with binary representations.  Some other methods used in I Ching are dice method, six coin method, Ba Qian, marbles or beads method and rice grains method.
