Traditional Kids Birthday Cakes
Mums have been making kids birthday cakes for decades, and this recipe is based on a children's birthday cake recipe that was published in the delightful Royal Baking Powder books in the 1920s.

Traditional Kids Birthday Cakes Ingredients
• ½ cup soft butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 large egg
• ? cup milk
• 2 cups cake flour (or pastry flour if available)
• 2 teaspoons baking powder

Method
These traditional kids birthday cakes are baked in a moderate oven. Preheat your oven to 180 °C.
