Dancing robots today include some with amazing abilities to dance, that is, to move and react to music. Some types of these robots are amusing, some are instructing and others have achieved acclaim in the performing arts. The technology required to develop dancing robots is promising for other more serious purposes. A robot which can dance with a human partner is interfacing with them in many subtle ways. This has implications for use in care for the elderly or handicapped, and even assistance with complicated medical procedures.

Dancing robots will make you laugh, charm you and amaze you. Maybe one day they may even take care of you! They are truly one of the most sophisticated types of robots
