The Legend of Scrabble

Scrabble is more than just a game, it is a legend. If you are a word game enthusiast, or even if you are not, you must have heard of the world famous game called Scrabble. A word game which tests your vocabulary and spelling skills, , Blacksmith Forge Scrabble is a great way to increase both.

The earliest version of Scrabble was invented in 1938 by Alfred Mosher Butts. It was called the “Criss Crosswords” at that time. He simplified the game a little and changed its name to “Scrabble.” The game actually came into the lime-light, when the President of the Macy's stores, in New York, started playing it in 1952.

Scrabble is played on a board with fifteen rows each of which have fifteen equal sized squares.
